Oggi vi parlo di un altro smalto della linea Easy Gel del brand austriaco P2 Cosmetics. Vi ho già presentato questa linea il mese scorso con lo smalto n. 6 Pink Pearl, e oggi vediamo un’altra colorazione.
Prima di tutto vi ricordo che si tratta di smalti normali, non fatevi ingannare dal nome. Di uno smalto in gel dovrebbero avere la lucentezza, e avere una maggior durata rispetto a uno smalto normale.
P2 Easy Gel Polish 080 Faded Brick* è un color prugna con forte componente rosa. Non so come sia stato scelto il nome, brick è il mattone, e quando penso a un mattone mi viene in mente un colore molto più arancione o marrone. Mattoni rosa ne devo ancora vedere in vita mia!
Ma bando alle ciance, parliamo dell’applicazione, abbastanza scorrevole. Il colore non è coprente come me lo aspetterei, due passate sono d’obbligo. Il risultato è molto lucido però, cosa che in effetti ricorda uno smalto in gel. La durata non è diversa da uno smalto standard, già dopo un paio di giorni avevo le punte un po’ rovinate.
Due passate senza top coat.

Today we’re gonna have a look at another nail polish by Austrian brand P2 Cosmetics’ Easy Gel polish line. I’ve already introduced you this line last month with no. 6 Pink Pearl, and we will see another shade today.
First of all I want to remind you this is standard nail polish, don’t be fooled by the name. It should be glossy as a gel polish and last longer than a standard polish though.
P2 Easy Gel Polish 080 Faded Brick* is a plum colour despire the name. Not sure what you think but when I read brick I definitely expect something more orangey or brown! I’ve never seen a plum brick in my life.
Anyway, let’s talk formula. Application is smooth, colour is not as opaque as I expected, you need two coats for full coverage. It dries as glossy as a gel polish I would say, but lasting time? No way, I had tip wear after a couple days.
Two coats without top coat.
Dopo aver fatto le prime foto ho applicato il top coat della stessa linea. Come vedete la boccetta è nera opaca per non far passare i raggi del sole. C’è un motivo ben preciso per questo packaging: questo top coat è UV reactive, ovvero si indurisce con i raggi solari. Effetto gel senza bisogno di lampada insomma.
Vi avevo già parlato di sfuggita di questo top coat, che a me personalmente piace molto. L’unica stranezza che gli trovo è che secondo me schiarisce leggermente il colore originale dello smalto. All’inizio credevo che fosse una mia impressione, però continuo a pensarlo ogni volta che lo uso quindi o sono pazza o qualcosa ci deve essere. Qui sotto vedete una foto col top coat, non vi sembra un po’ più chiaro?
After taking the first photos I added its special top coat. As you can notice the bottle is opaque black and there’s a reason for it. This top coat is UV reactive, which means it cures and hardens under solar rays. Gel effect without needing a lamp basically.
I’ve shortly talked about this top coat already in the past because I really like it. It’s a bit odd though because I have this strong feeling that it slightly makes the underneath colour lighter. At first I thought it was my own idea but I still get that feeling every single time I use it so it can’t be only me! Below you see a photo after top coat, don’t you think it’s a tad lighter?
Che dire? Uno smalto che va bene in qualsiasi stagione, nè troppo chiaro nè troppo scuro. Cosa ne pensate?
What can I say? It’s a colour that works all year round, not too bright, not too light, not too dark. What do you think about it?
